Local Businesses Team Up to Feed Health Care Workers

ANA•LITK, formerly Communicate by Design X, works in-kind to help launch Feed Loudoun's Health Care Heroes

STERLING, VA, April 2020—Asim Shaikh, CEO of Communicate by Design X, and Tony Howard, CEO of the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce, were talking before a Chamber meeting like usual. Except that was anything but ordinary. The meeting was virtual instead of at the Chamber's office, and everyone was all talking about the latest COVID-19 developments in the news. Tony asked Asim if Communicate by Design X, could help with an idea for a program that he'd seen in other communities. A program to buy the front line, our local health care workers, lunch. With a quick yes, Feed Loudoun's Health Care Workers was born.

Within a week, the team at Communicate by Design X worked in-kind with the Loudon County Chamber of Commerce to develop and deliver marketing strategies, as well as online, social, and printed marketing collateral.

On April 21, 2020, the Feed Loudoun's Health Care Heroes program will launch. Because of the in-kind partnerships by Communicate by Design X and others, 100% of donations will go directly to the cause, buying lunches for workers at Inova Loudoun Hospital and Stone Springs Hospital Center.
